My Approach

When it comes to therapy, research shows that the therapeutic alliance - that is, the relationship and rapport that exists between you and your counsellor - is more predictive of positive outcome than any one intervention. Relationship and connection is key to a successful therapy experience. As a person-centred counsellor, that therapeutic relationship is so important to me. I want you to feel safe, seen and understood in an open, transparent and judgement-free environment.

As an eclectic counsellor, I draw from numerous therapeutic approaches in my work, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), constructivist therapies, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapies and more. We will work together to identify goals and find the approach and strategies that fit best for you and your needs.
